In your own words, how would you describe what you do and the role you have built for yourself?
I describe myself as a strategic connector and community-driven leader. Professionally, I work as a Real Estate Partnerships Associate at GFiber in Nashville, where I focus on expanding broadband access and digital infrastructure across Middle Tennessee. But the role I have truly built for myself goes beyond a single job title. As a serial entrepreneur, I founded Twisted Corks, an experiential brand offering curated wine and spirits tastings, and Iris Property Services, where I built and managed a shortterm rental portfolio. Across all these spaces, whether I am negotiating tech partnerships or empowering people to “sip with confidence,” my role is to bridge gaps, foster authentic connections, and create inclusive spaces.
Many women wear more than one hat professionally or personally. What is a part of your story that does not fit neatly into your job title?
A huge part of my story is my civic advocacy and community leadership. While my title at GFiber centers on tech and real estate, my passion for equitable growth extends into the human experience. I currently serve on the board of the Civic Design Center, where I recently participated in the “Continuing the Vision” design charrette to advocate for inclusive urban development in Nashville. Additionally, I have served as Board Co-Chair for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Nashville chapter, empowering local women entrepreneurs through high-impact programming. Being named the Catalyst Award winner by March of Dimes Tennessee also highlights my commitment to combating health disparities in our local community. These civic hats are just as important to me as my corporate ones, because they allow me to make sure our city’s rapid growth benefits everyone
How did your career evolve into what it is now? What defining steps, pivots, or roles shaped your journey along the way?
My career path has been anything but linear. A defining pivot for me was making the intentional decision to step away from my previous corporate career. I took a break to focus on building my family, raising two children under two, and running my own businesses. Leaving that corporate job was pivotal because it gave me the crucial time and space I needed to find true alignment for my next chapter.
Interestingly, my time as a full-time entrepreneur is exactly what led me to where I am today. GFiber actually became a client of mine multiple times. T hose interactions planted the seed for our future relationship. When I was ready to re-enter the corporate space, I found the perfect alignment. Now, as a Real Estate Partnerships Associate at GFiber, I rely on the same skills I honed while managing Airbnbs and scaling my own brands. The entrepreneurial hustle and property management experience perfectly prepared me to cultivate strategic partnerships and drive infrastructure growth across Middle Tennessee.
