What’s something people are always surprised to learn about you?
I think people are generally pretty shocked to find out that I’m such a homebody. My personality probably gives off the impression that I always want to be out and about, partying or surrounded by people. But honestly, when I’m off the road, I love slowing down. Give me cooking, cleaning, gardening, hunting, or just being at home, and I’m happy. I really crave a simple lifestyle away from the lights.
Outside of work, what brings you the most joy?
I feel like I’m at a point in my life where I’m truly living life to the fullest. Whenever I get the chance to slow down, I try to be fully present with my friends and family because that’s really what life is all about. Even though social media is a huge part of my job, I’ve been making a conscious effort to put my phone down and just be in the moment with the people I love. Those are the moments that matter most to me.
What does beauty mean to you?
I’m honestly so over beauty standards. If you look at the red carpets, there’s a new trend every single year. One year it’s being tan, then it’s being skinny, then it’s natural makeup. Society is always trying to tell us what beauty is supposed to look like. To me, real beauty is authenticity. It’s feeling confident in your own skin and embracing the fact that you’re one of one. That’s the beautiful part of life, there’s nobody else who gets to be you, and I think that’s something worth celebrating.
