What's something people are always surprised to learn about you?
That I’m not always on. I’m not always trying to be funny and performing. I’m just a regular degular person.
What's a recent moment that made you feel proud?
Directing my seventh comedy special "Ugly Baby!" on YouTube right now.
Outside of work, what brings you the most joy?
My family, a stellar cup of coffee, a nostalgic song, and chips and salsa.
Tell us about a cause or organization that's close to your heart.
There’s so many great organizations based out of Nashville like The Store, Agape, and Thistle Farms. I recently learned about Mother to Mother and love what they are doing. I look forward to getting more involved with their organization.
What's one habit or ritual that helps you feel your best — physically, mentally, or emotionally?
Practicing gratitude is one of my mental health tools. I even have a gratitude-based podcast called "Funjelah" that comes out every Tuesday. There’s power in hearing yourself recount the things you are grateful for and how it shifts your outlook for each day.
