What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Definitely making it to the NHL. It’s been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and I feel super blessed and grateful to be able to play a game I love for a living.
What organization are you affiliated with and why is it important to you?
One organization I affiliate with is Friends Life Community. We did an awesome collaboration this year where they made five custom pairs of shoes for me to wear with my suits to our home games. We then auctioned the shoes off, and the money we raised went back to the organization. It was a blast, and the shoes turned out great!
A quote you live by:
One of my favorite sayings is, “Be where your feet are.” It’s simple but reminds me not to be concerned with stuff that’s happened in the past or get too far into the future. Just try to live in the moment.
