What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My two girls. I could not ask for more courageous, strong, yet sensitive women. They inspire me every day and traveling with them is one of my favorite pastimes. My job is to deliver them to the world as good people, and they have truly surpassed that.
A quote you live by:
"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with this one wild and precious life?" —Mary Oliver I bought this carved into a piece of driftwood in San Francisco years ago. It was in my first Pilates studio and now sits on my bookshelf at home. It's a question we should all ask ourselves every single day.
What is your self-care routine?
I do monthly facials at Catylyst with Jess or with Mary Matts, both of which are amazing. I think my dermatologist is the best in the city, Dr. Anna Land. My hair is always by Tyler Bishop and my skincare is solely the result of Emogene & Co. Their creator, Allyson Brennan, is a neuro-pharmacist and her products have single-handedly changed my skin. As far as wellness, I travel and teach advanced education in Pilates in the U.S. and internationally, so of course, I do Pilates, and I love to hike. Nashville has some of the best places to grab a great walk or hike. I also take a lot of time to just be — with people, friends, and even solo. I think finding time to be still is an essential part of feeling great. I especially love traveling solo. I spent a month teaching and traveling in Portugal this summer, and it was truly life-changing.
