Is there an accomplishment that you are particularly proud to share? When on the board at the The Hermitage, after five straight years of giving fundraisers with my husband Bob, I persuaded the director to let me have a formal dinner (with period food, wine and flowers) on Andrew Jackson’s back porch. It was such a moving and memorable night. After realizing it could be a successful yearly fundraising option, I worked on obtaining all the necessities they needed to accomplish the task, i.e.. linens, crystal, silverware, copies of Andrew and Rachel’s special China, and Lennox vases etc. etc. As a thank you, they named a China Closet after me. I am so proud of that closet! What activity brings you the most joy? That’s easy! Watching our son and his lovely wife, Tiff, get our grandson, Beau (16 months in October) to dissolve in giggles. Is there an accomplishment that you are particularly proud to share? I once sang a karaoke song so badly I was given two branded trucker hats and asked to leave the stage.
f you have a secret for looking your best, do tell! A daily dose of Menaji 911 eye gel and moisturizer, a bath in Thistle Farms salts, and a scrub with Dr. Bommers is my routine. Otherwise, I stay sultry by not getting enough sleep and drinking my weight in water.
Name an organization or non-profit that you affiliate with and why it’s important to you: Over the last couple years I have been involved with Chattanooga Cares, an organization dedicated to helping patients with HIV through empathy and support. To me, the group embodies the true spirit of philanthropy.

Name the person who has been the greatest influence in your life and why/how? My Dad has probably been the biggest influence in my life. I think he gave me an ability to have fun in the moment and laugh and not take myself too seriously. He showed me how to work hard but still have a good time. And when it comes to beauty, Dad always believed that our imperfections were beautiful. I hope I’ve taught that to my children.

What is your definition of a beautiful person? To me, beauty starts on the inside and works its way out. I believe you can really see someone’s true beauty when you catch them in an act of kindness.

What is one thing that most people don’t know about you? I grew up on a horse farm and rode competitively.
Any grooming products that you swear by or cannot live without? I can not live without my Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. I use it as a dry shampoo because I don't wash my hair everyday. I also love my Rose Water Spray by Beautycounter. It's very refreshing and sets my makeup!
If you had a totally wide-open day with no obligations whatsoever, how would you spend it? After sleeping in, I would start my day with coffee and a devotional. I would then head to Percy Warner Park to run the stairs (I have to be outside if it's pretty), meet friends for lunch and maybe afternoon shopping, head home to play with Rajah (my Doll Face Persian kitten), and end my day cooking a delicious meal at home.
