Each year we celebrate the incredible people that make Nashville a beautiful place to live. This year, we toast a lineup that includes creatives, business people, culinarians, and everything in between. With a passion for philanthropy and a beautiful outlook on life, these are the men and women who make Music City shine.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I really love magic tricks.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
First and foremost my children and our family. Starting and growing a valet company in the middle of the recession and also helping my wife grow her Youtube channel and start our merchandise business.
How would friends describe you in three words?
Loyal, fun, and mischievous.
Tell us about a skill or activity that you’ve always wanted to try or one you’ve learned and mastered?
I’m not sure if it’s a skill but I’m in the process of learning to raise two extremely beautiful and extremely wild boys. I would also like to do Running of the Bulls.
Name the person who has been the greatest influence in your life.
It would be tie between my parents and my wife. I’ve learned the value of hard work on a daily basis watching both my parents go to work each and every day. My wife is also someone I look up to as she helps me grow to become a better husband, father, and man.
Name an organization or non-profit that you affiliate with outside of work and why it’s important to you.
We lost our godson and nephew thirty days after he was born due to heart defect so we feel connected to the Brett Boyer Foundation.
Tell us about someone you consider a hero and why?
I never really idolized anybody.
What are a few of your favorite places in Nashville?
Absolutely love House of Cards and my seats on a Sunday afternoon at the Titans game.
Tell us about your routine/tips for looking and feeling great inside and/or out (salon, spa, fitness, wellness, well-being, etc.)
I usually run around thirty miles a week and do a few weight sessions at the downtown Y. Whenever that quits working I will make the leap to liposuction and yoga.
Describe your perfect day.
Wake up to a nice French kiss from my wife then head to the kitchen to make some pancakes with my sons. Sneak off to play some golf, eat some wings at Corner Pub after then end the night with my boys at Dairy Queen.
Do you have a favorite quote you live by that you would like to share (and why)?
I love Gary Vaynerchuk’s quote “You are going to die” which kind of puts a lot into context when you really think about. We’re only here once for a very short amount of time so try that thing you always wanted to try, start that business you wanted to always start, take risks and live fully.
What is your definition of beauty—as it pertains to yourself and/or others?
My wife.
