On Friday, October 5, Nashville-based Zander Insurance held an employee celebration to award a high school senior with its fourth annual $5,000 Life Lessons Scholarship.
Each year, Zander holds a scholarship contest for students who have lost a parent who, unfortunately, did not have a life insurance policy. This year they received hundreds of scholarship entries, as students were required to submit a video explaining the loss of their parent who did not have life insurance.
Brooke Hill from West Chester, PA was awarded the scholarship, and Zander flew Brooke and her mother to Nashville for an official awards ceremony.
