Tay Keith - 1
Recently, multi-platinum music producer and Tennessee native Tay Keith launched his Music For Healing initiative in support of the American Cancer Society with a kickoff visit to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Nashville—bringing a deeply personal and uplifting moment to his homestate. This new initiative, created in collaboration with Drumatized Cares and the American Cancer Society, is designed to offer comfort and healing through music to guests during treatment. By integrating music into the care experience, the initiative will travel to Hope Lodge communities across Tennessee, delivering speakers and gift bags to provide a sense of peace during some of life’s most challenging moments.
During his visit, Tay Keith personally handed out custom Drumatized x American Cancer Society speakers to guests and their caregivers. Each guest received an instruction card guiding them on how to connect their speaker and access a curated playlist of healing instrumental tracks produced by Tay Keith and Drumatized Cares. For guests at a Hope Lodge community undergoing treatment, this music becomes not only the hope, but also the encouragement in their journey.
Tay’s impactful presence reflects his ongoing commitment to philanthropy in Nashville. Understanding the emotional toll of cancer treatment, he spent time speaking with people with cancer and families, listening to their stories and insight. His goal to ensure that the music not only entertains but truly uplifts makes him one of the most unique artists to-date. For guests at a Hope Lodge community, these sounds serve as a powerful reminder of strength and hope—transforming music into a meaningful source of encouragement throughout their healing journey.
Tay Keith has long been committed to using his music and platform as a force for positive change in his community. The launch of Music For Healing follows several recent heartfelt initiatives, including his My Memphis Poetry Challenge, hosted in partnership with the City of Memphis in January, which gave young creatives a space to showcase their artistic voices. Earlier this year, he also partnered with Audiomack and the Save The Music Foundation to donate keyboards and a digital hybrid piano to students at Maplewood High School in Nashville—supporting the next generation of musicians. This event also comes nearly a year after he hosted a special Mother’s Day dinner in honor of cancer survivors, a tribute to his late mother who passed away in 2021.
Tay Keith’s history in social impact and new launch for Music For Healing show that he is a person of humility, compassion, and service. This initiative, along with his consistent community efforts, amplifies his efforts to giving back, staying grounded in his roots, and using his platform to make a meaningful difference.
