Sunday in the Park 2021 – Picnic in Ridge Field, Edwin Warner Park
On October 31, 550 people joined together for a picnic at Ridge Field in Edwin Warner Park to celebrate thirty-two years of Friends of Warner Parks’ annual Sunday in the Park.
An additional 150 people utilized the drive-thru option to enjoy their picnic in the comfort of their homes, too.
The fundraising efforts of Sunday in the Park benefit Percy and Edwin Warner Parks, 3,180 acres of green oasis enjoyed by the entire Nashville community. Money raised was dedicated to the preservation, protection, and stewardship of the Warner Parks, the promotion of educational programs which inspire appreciation and stewardship of this unique resource, as well as maintenance and enhancement of the beauty of the parks and their historic structures.
