South College Nashville celebrated the grand opening of its newest campus expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 23, alongside local officials, partners, faculty, and staff. The event marked the debut of the college’s new building at 565 Marriott Drive and the expansion of its on-site Dental Clinic, which serves both students and the public.
The nearly 38,000‑square‑foot addition significantly expands the Nashville campus, featuring new nursing labs, simulation labs, a Doctor of Physical Therapy lab, three classrooms, and a second student center, along with additional space for faculty and staff. The expansion was designed to support hands-on learning while accommodating the college’s growing student population across multiple health care programs.
Also highlighted during the event was the expansion of the South College Dental Clinic. Originally opened in 2019, the clinic added 4,000 square feet, allowing the Dental Hygiene program to increase its cohort from 40 to 60 students. The expansion helps meet rising demand for accessible dental care in the community, including low-cost services for veterans and other underserved populations.
The ribbon cutting officially marked a new chapter for South College Nashville, reinforcing its commitment to workforce development, experiential education, and improving access to essential health care services across Middle Tennessee.
