Nashville's newest nightlife attraction, Play Playground, set the standard of next-level entertainment with a preview party on March 6. Attendees were cheered on (literally) as they grooved to live music, sipped and snacked, sported balloon animal headbands, and laughed while playing larger than life games.
The two-story (hello, rooftop) entertainment hub hosts over twenty large-scale games such as favorites Doctor! Doctor!, Bullsye, Wordsicle, and Whiskey Run. Want to have a seat? Long-time tabletop favorites like Connect Four and Tic-Tac-Toe will keep you company. Guests will feel like they have been dropped into a gameshow as there aren't any VR, AR, or arcade games. The atmosphere is perfect for both one-on-one and group adventures. Open to guests sixteen and older during the day and transforming into a playful nightlife destination for the twenty-one and older crowd in the evening.
Decorated with neon signs and explosions of color, the 2nd Ave. hotspot radiates Music City motifs married with Las Vegas allure. Laughter could be heard over the music, and that's saying something for downtown. Living up to the "eat, drink, play" mantra, guests indulged in delicious, creative cocktail and mocktail options and were able to enjoy various drinking games at their leisure, accompanied by yummy bites. Let your inner child loose, except this time you don't have a curfew.
Play Playground is now open with tickets available for purchase online. (playplayground.com/)
