On Wednesday, July 8, Music City came together to help those in the community experiencing homelessnes following an urgent request from the Nashville Rescue Mission for bottled water.
Whiskey Jam's Ward Guenther, country music star Chris Young, Music Water, and I Believe in Nashville collectively donated 144,000 bottles of water—4 semi-truck loads—to the Nashville Rescue Mission and its Hot Patrol, which takes to the streets when the heat becomes unbearable, handing out much needed cold water to the homeless and offering them a chance to escape the heat and receive shelter in a cool, safe place.
