On Thursday, October 3, The Nashville Wine Auction held its ninth annual Champagne & Chardonnay: A Sparkling Evening Just for Ladies on the same evening as the fifth annual Men's Event: Honoring the Life and Spirit of Billy Ray Hearn.
Champagne & Chardonnay is always a highly anticipated cocktail party where ladies enjoy a beautiful evening with their girlfriends while raising money to fund the fight against cancer. Co-chaired this year by Beth Fortune and Debbie Turner, the evening featured a Sparkling Silent Auction filled with fine wine, unique wine experiences, and other luxury items. Champagne & Chardonnay was hosted by Vicki Porter in her beautiful Bancroft Home. A fantastic selection of delectable cuisine was provided by G Catering.

The Men’s Event was held at Josephine restaurant in 12 South. This event started in 2015 and has since become a very popular event for gentlemen who enjoy red wine, big steaks, and are eager to support the Nashville Wine Auction’s mission of raising money to fund the fight against cancer. The men enjoyed sharing favorite wines from their cellars as well as wines from Arista Winery, Fairchild Napa Valley, Memento Mori Winery and The Debate. The culinary team at Josephine, led by Chef Andy Little, served an exceptional four-course dinner for the men. Co-chairs were David Hawkins, Jim Lewis, and David Osborn.
