On Thursday, April 24, Nashville Lifestyles hosted its annual Inspiring Women event at The Joseph Hotel. Prior to the seated program, attendees enjoyed an hour of cocktails and networking. Guests were welcomed with champagne from Porsche of Nashville, sipped delicious margaritas courtesy of Southbound Tequila, and snacked on hors d'oeuvres from The Joseph. Following the cocktail hour, guests were treated to a panel discussion, presented by Porsche of Nashville.
The panel featured Fran Adkins, DMD (dentist, Blackman Family Dental), Johnetta Blakely, MD, MS, MMHC (executive vice president of quality and clinic operations, Tennessee Oncology), Karee Hays (owner and founder, Karee Hays Esthetics and KH Skin Lab), Shannon Morse (co-founder and visionary, The Green Door Life), Hannah Schneider (founder, BRND House), and Vicki Shepard, ACSW, MPA (president and founder, Healthy Aging Coalition; chair, 2024 GO RED, American Heart Association Middle Tennessee). Each of the women talked about who has inspired them in their life including special stories about family members and clients.
Attendees also enjoyed hearing conversations with Ivey Childers (co-founder and CEO, Southbound Tequila), and Dr. Christina Rahm (patented scientist & entrepreneur; CEO, DRC Ventures; chief science formulator of The Root Brands), learning about each woman’s life journey and what inspires them as mothers and entrepreneurs.
The evening concluded with keynote speaker Clea Shearer (co-founder, The Home Edit; host, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition). She discussed her keys to success and shared her new book news about her fight against cancer.
