The Phoenix Club of Nashville, a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) organization, recently held their annual Leadership in Philanthropy Dinner, hosting over 200 distinguished guests at Hillwood Country Club. Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Pinnacle Financial Chairman Rob McCabe were interviewed in a ‘fireside chat' by past Phoenix Club president Chip Howorth. The discussion included the speakers' personal experiences with community service and philanthropy, how to inspire a culture of servant-leadership in business and advice for the next generation of leaders in Middle Tennessee.
The Leadership in Philanthropy Dinner Host Committee for 2018 included Lee Barfield, Randy Boyd, Wood Caldwell, Marty Dickens, Gov. Winfield Dunn, Mark Emkes, John Ferguson, Jimmy Granbery, Gov. Bill Haslam, Damon Hininger, Clay Jackson, Sr., Milton Johnson, Bill Lee, Rob McCabe, Rock Morphis, Brian Reames, Ron Samuels, Joe Scarlett, Mike Shmerling, John Tishler, and Jimmy Webb.
