On Thursday, December 11, Jack Daniel’s and the Nashville Predators teamed up to host their annual Barrel Tree Lighting on Bridgestone Arena’s Main Plaza for an important cause: supporting our nation’s military families.
This year’s Barrel Tree was seven tiers tall and constructed from 113 Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey barrels. The public were invited to purchase one of its barrels, with proceeds benefiting Operation Ride Home – a Jack Daniel’s and ASYMCA program that helps service members travel home for the holidays – and the Nashville Predators Foundation.
Starting at 4 p.m. and open to the public, the festive evening featured giveaways, themed cocktails, holiday music and more. The tree was lit at 5:05 p.m. before fans headed inside for the Predators game.
