The Boots of Honor Memorial made its first-ever appearance in Franklin, Tennessee, on May 17 as part of a Community Day of Remembrance at Bicentennial Park. The exhibit, featuring 7,470 individual combat boots, serves as a striking tribute to U.S. service member killed while an active duty member since 9/11.
Held from noon to 3 p.m., the event invited the community to reflect, remember, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Attendees experienced the powerful visual display while gathering in a shared moment of remembrance. The afternoon also featured a live performance by Navy veteran and Nashville-based country artist Brooks Herring, adding a meaningful musical element to the tribute.
