On May 14, guests sampled delicious burger creations from ten local restaurants at our annual Battle of the Burger competition, presented by First South Financial Credit Union.
Event-goers made their way through bites from Cledis, Black Tap, NADC, Mr. J’s Original, STK, Foundry Fieldhouse, Bourbon Steak, Dog Haus, Decker & Dyer, and Emmy Squared Pizza, then cast their votes for “Fan Favorite” at the First South Financial voting station. While there, guests could also enter the First South giveaway for a chance to win a prize package filled with goodies.
A panel of judges including Private Chef and Content Creator Chris Kahle, Digital tastemaker Kyle Dimeola, Sarah Beth Schulte with The Tip Jar, Robyn Singer with Nashville Noshes, and 107.5 The River Radio Host Ricki Sanchez, also sampled all the burgers in a blind taste test to determine to “Judges Choice” winner.
While snacking on burgers, guests twenty-one and older sipped on Vital Hard Seltzers. DJ Alanna Royale brought the entertaining tunes, Nashville Smile Bar provided the photo booth fun complete with burger-themed props and backdrop courtesy of Tennessee Beef Industry Council. Plus, guests had the chance to stop by and visit with our nonprofit beneficiary, Safe Haven Family Shelter.

The event took place at The Yard in oneC1TY. Battle of the Burger 2026 was presented by First South Financial Federal Credit Union along with sponsors Tennessee Beef Industry Council, Vital Premium Hard Seltzer, C&B Linen, and oneC1TY. A portion of ticket proceeds benefitted our charity partner Safe Haven Family Shelter, a local nonprofit leading the community’s efforts to house, support, empower and advocate for families experiencing homelessness.
