On Wednesday, September 18, Nashville Ballet's Ballet Ball 2020 Co-Chairs Allison Cotton and Emily Humphreys celebrated the start of the season with a grand Kick-Off party hosted by Kevin and Katie Cumbo and designed by Bruce Pittman Inc.
Guests were welcomed with personalized tagged flutes filled with sparkling wine accompanied by the sounds of French ballet music in the background. The Tulip Tree accented the Crumbo home with florals that added a natural elegance to the party.
In celebration of the Ball's Versailles theme, Kristen Winston Catering passed French bites including Mini Tartes Flabees (Alsatian Bacon Tartlet), French Radish Toast with Fromage D'affinios, Deviled Quail Eggs, Smoked Salmon Tartare with Lemon Crème Fraiche on Crispy Potato Cake, and Lemon Shrimp on Endive.
Ball Co-Chairs shared light remarks in gratitude, recognized dear friend Suann Davis as the Ball's Honorary Chair, and rallied excitement for the annual fundraiser's theme set to come to life on Leap Day, February 29, 2020. This date's significance paired perfectly with the organization and theme to create the event tagline—This Leap Day, Make It A Grand Jete!
As guests departed, note pads created by You're Invited were presented bearing the Versailles inspired Ballet Ball 2020 logo created by Ashley Cole.
