On March 27, the Nashville Wine Auction raised $370,000 at the 'Pairings at Home' event to help fund the fight against cancer.
Nashvillians drove up to City Winery while it was torrentially raining to pick up their 'six packs' of wines and a charcuterie platter to take home for the virtual wine tasting and live auction held later that evening. The live broadcast was shot upstairs that night at City Winery, too.
Guests had fun with auctioneer Nikki Shannon, emcees including Eric Decker, a former Tennessee Titan, plus Amy Atkinson. The event host was Kix Brooks of Brooks and Dunn. The funds are split between nine local cancer-fighting organizations.
