The event, "Stubborn Hearts" took place at City Winery and featured numerous artists performing to show their support and help raise money for LLS. The artists included Shannon Laurie (headliner), Muddy Magnolias, Bonnie Bishop, Guthrie Trapp, Kyshona, Neal Carpenter, Kalie Shorr, Adam Warner, Katie Pruitt and Jess Nolan.
The event was hosted by local business owner Diana Warner, a candidate for Nashville's "Woman of the Year". The Man/Woman of the Year campaign is an intense, 10-week fundraising competition. Each year, 12 to 20 business and community leaders vie for the title of Man & Woman of the Year by raising funds for LLS. Every dollar counts as one vote, and the candidates with the most votes are named Man & Woman of the Year.
