Country music artist and Grand Ole Opry member, Craig Morgan welcomed VIP guests and honorary military families from Operation FINALLY HOME to join him for the ribbon cutting. These special guests included four families who were recently presented with a new home from the organization and Lebanon solider SSG Rob Cesternino and his son Luca, whose surprise homecoming went viral in March.
Following the ceremony, local personalities and celebrities raced down the four-lane Rock 'N Racer attraction which resulted in a $20k donation from Ryman Hospitality Properties, Gaylord Opryland Resort and Pepsi to Operation FINALLY HOME. Afterwards, guests enjoyed private acoustic performances by multi-instrumentalist and country artist Maggie Baugh.

Making waves throughout Nashville since its indoor opening in December 2018, SoundWaves continues to hit all the right notes with an additional 106,000 square feet of outdoor water amenities. The water resort creates an experience unique to Music City by enhancing each attraction and amenity with paired musical components.

The outdoor portion of the facility features a 315,000-gallon wave pool with giant LED movie screen, 45-foot slide tower, kids pool and multi-level play structure, adults-only pool and bars, private cabana rentals, food trucks and more. Adrenaline-inducing attractions include the Beat Drop, a near-vertical drop into a tunnel and looping waterslide; and the Bass Drop, an open-flume six-story free-fall into water.
