Don’t miss three opportunities this month to catch free live music at the Frist as part of their ongoing Music at the Frist series.

On July 5, Duane Spencer and Paulette Licitra, the voices behind Duette, bring their lively brand of alternative acoustic music to the museum’s café. Expect a fun mix of ukulele, guitar, and delightful harmonies.
Then on July 25, as part of the Frist’s special member preview of upcoming exhibits in the Grand Lobby, soak up the sounds of The Freedom Coalition. Featuring a rotating collective of musicians, the Nashville-based group improvises in real time to produce a spontaneous, responsive sound.
Finally, on July 26, join Embers Music, a mostly self-taught pianist, as she brings her unique combination of story and song to the café. Driven by her interaction with the audience and environment, Embers Music is a dynamic experience.
