Created by acclaimed Broadway director and producer Neil Goldberg, POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance has entertained audiences around the world through books, toys, animation, television programming and live performances. Last year’s production at Gaylord Opryland earned a 2026 Telly Award for Best Immersive Holiday Show, recognizing its innovative storytelling and unforgettable guest experience.
“Our mission continues to deliver high-quality, affordable family content to audiences around the world,” said Goldberg. “Partnering with Gaylord Opryland allows us to expand that mission through extraordinary live performances at a destination renowned for holiday programming.”
Gaylord Opryland Area General Manager Tom Petrillo said the production quickly became a guest favorite during its inaugural Nashville season.
“We’re excited to welcome POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance back for a second season as part of our 43rd annual A Country Christmas celebration,” Petrillo said. “The show combines extraordinary artistry, immersive storytelling and holiday spirit. Its return enhances our lineup of seasonal experiences and creates even more unforgettable memories for our guests.”
Inspired by the beloved POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance storybook series, the theatrical production transports audiences into a world of imagination, friendship and holiday wonder. Performed inside the Tennessee Ballroom Theater, the experience surrounds guests with larger-than-life storybook illustrations that make it feel as though they’ve stepped inside the pages of the story.
The production follows best friends Pomp, Snow and Cirqueumstance on a magical journey through a secret university devoted to music, magic and circus arts. Along the way, they celebrate individuality, discover the power of friendship and share a heartwarming holiday message for audiences of all ages.
Featuring 27 world-class performers, more than 100 dazzling costumes and wigs, breathtaking circus acts, captivating illusions and musical storytelling, the multi-million-dollar production culminates with a special appearance from Santa Claus.
Before the show begins, guests can explore the immersive POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance Universe, an interactive holiday wonderland filled with sparkling lights, whimsical décor, beloved storybook characters and surprise pop-up performances. Larger-than-life displays include towering nutcrackers, colossal candy canes, an 18-foot gingerbread man, glistening reindeer and other festive photo opportunities designed to create lasting family memories.
The return of POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance joins Gaylord Opryland’s signature attraction, ICE!, and expands the resort’s collection of immersive holiday experiences during the 43rd annual A Country Christmas, offering visitors yet another magical way to celebrate the season in Nashville.
