Starting today through Sunday, July 19, chefs and tastemakers from across Nashville will come together to participate in #AskChefsAnything, an online auction to raise awareness and funds for the immigrant workforce in the restaurant industry, many of whom have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
New York natives and startup founders Gaeleen Quinn and Anna Polonsky established the #AskChefsAnything initiative at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to give back to the immigrant workforce. In Nashville alone, immigrants make up more than 10 percent of the food service industry and are crucial to Nashville's many beloved restaurants.
Chefs and industry tastemakers from Tennessee, including celebrity chef Carla Hall will each auction off 30 minutes of their time to share their favorite recipes, cooking tips or just have a casual conversation with winners.
