Country music singer-songwriters like Trent Tomlinson, co-writer of Brett Young's 'In Case You Didn't Know,” spend most of their days either on the road performing, writing music, or in the studio. But, for Tomlinson, he knows the importance of taking time and getting away to a place that inspires him. His place is Gulf County, Florida.
"I don't know what it is about this place, whether it's the fishing, the saltwater air, or the amazing seafood, but there's something that really inspires me," he says. "I can get away from Nashville and come down here and just recharge my batteries. It's amazing to feel something other than the hub bub of the business."
As Tomlinson mentions in his 'Be Inspired' video, Gulf County offers beautiful sunsets and beaches, and to the north it has freshwater rivers for fishing, too. He explains how it's both a place to bring your family or just come hang out with your friends.
Trent highlights some of his favorite things to do while in Gulf County in the video below, but one thing is for sure:
"There are no strangers here," he says. "It's a great place to be! Small town living; big time fishing."
