NORQAIN Swiss watches do just that with their three collections of quality timepieces, and King Jewelers has partnered exclusively with the family-owned, Nidau, Switzerland-based brand to bring them to Nashville.
NORQAIN’s name is as unique as the company itself. “N” stands for new, “O” for open-minded, “R” for rebellious, “Q” is quality time, “A” is adventure, “I” for independent, and “N” stands for niche. The acronym serves as a reminder of the characteristics that make up each watch; creating a seamless collection of luxury timepieces that maintain an unwavering connection to their roots.
King Jewelers, a family-owned company that shares NORQAIN’s dedication to tradition and quality, was elated to bring a brand so dedicated to craftsmanship to the Nashville community.
“NORQAIN offers an incredible collection of quality and style in a growing price point category not offered in the current Nashville market,” says Fumiya Sawa, marketing director for King Jewelers. “You get a lot of watch for the money.” (The line runs between $1,500 and $4,500.)
He says NORQAIN is already making its mark in Nashville.

“The feedback that we receive from our clients has been wonderful. They love the textures in the dial, the unique strap options, and the story behind the brand,” says Sawa.
One particular client has exceptionally close ties to the brand—Roman Josi, captain of the Nashville Predators. Swiss native Josi was closely involved in NORQAIN’s early years thanks to his friendship with Ben Küffer, CEO and founder of the brand, as well as his relationship with Mark Streit, executive board member of NORQAIN (and a Stanley Cup winner).
Josi, who favors NORQAIN’s Adventure Sport Auto Steel & Gold model with a black dial, attended the brand’s intimate Nashville launch party at The Dream Hotel in the fall. During the event he shared his passion for the brand and celebrated alongside longtime friends and teammates.
King Jewelers has supported the Predators for more than eight years as the team’s official jeweler. With Josi as a close friend and ambassador of the brand, a partnership with NORQAIN was a perfect fit.
