Gucci has just announced the opening of its first Nashville location at The Mall at Green Hills. Although an exact date has yet to be confirmed, the luxury boutique has set its sights on a mid-December opening, just before the holidays.
The new storefront will span over 5,000 square feet and showcase a wide collection of men's and women's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, luggage, small leather goods, accessories, silks, jewelry, watches, fragrance, and eyewear.
With a look that invites customers to feel welcome and relaxed, the interior design of the new location is subtle. Patrons will find soft elements like velvet armchairs offset by harder surfaces and industrial elements, such as rivets. In keeping with the contemporary eclecticism that characterizes Gucci's collections, the store is a combination of traditional and modern, industrial and romantic.
The mood within the store is one of discretion, where understated drama is created by the unexpected combination of materials. Throughout the store shoppers will find luxurious chairs while vintage oriental rugs are layered over each over for a textured effect. The result is a space that entices, surprises, and feels personal to Gucci.
