Christian Louboutin announces the opening of its first boutique in Nashville, Tennessee. Located at The Mall at Green Hills, the 2,200-square-foot space brings the Maison’s signature mix of bold design, artisanal detail, and Parisian flair to Music City. Set in a ‘Boat on the Nile’ concept inspired by a Dahabiya—a traditional Egyptian riverboat—the boutique reflects Christian Louboutin’s enduring love for Egypt and infuses rhythmic design elements that nod to Nashville’s rich musical heritage. A tribute to the Maison’s passion for art, travel, and performance, the boutique presents a curated selection of men’s and women’s shoes, handbags, and leather goods.
“The boutiques should look like a living room where people do not feel like they are in a store but in the home of a friend, who loves them and knows them well.”- Christian Louboutin
Arched windows along the boutique’s façade mirror the arches of the very first Christian Louboutin boutique in Paris at the Galerie Véro-Dodat. Inside, the boutique unfolds across a stage-like floor of the House’s signature red carpet, anchored by a circular display at its center and crowned with a dramatic brass trumpet chandelier. Curved shelving lines the boutique’s walls, echoing the fluidity of string instruments and nodding to Nashville’s musical heritage, while boat-style wood decking beneath each display offers a subtle reference to the designer’s global voyages.
A cabinet de curiosités near the cash wrap offers guests a glimpse into Christian’s inner world, showcasing a selection of his personal inspirations. Throughout the boutique, reinterpreted sketches by Christian Louboutin add a layer of intimacy and a sense of storytelling.
To celebrate the opening, the Nashville boutique unveils an exclusive capsule collection of 9 women’s shoes and accessories that fuse Parisian elegance with a dash of Southern spirit. Following the success of the Giddy Up collection, the capsule features standout styles like the Desiree boot, the Santia Fringe boot, and Kenny’s Hat – the Maison’s couture interpretation of a classic cowboy hat. Designed especially for the region, the collection combines bold femininity with a distinctively Christian Louboutin twist on Western codes.
