This year's Symphony Fashion Show is set be more extravagant than ever before.
Not only will the show feature the breathtaking Fall 2019 collection by Carolina Herrera, but there will also be a special appearance by their Creative Director Wes Gordon, and an exclusive performance by country superstar Lauren Alaina.
We couldn't help ourselves but to interview this year's Symphony Fashion Show co-chairs, Cynthia Arnholt and Allison Schaufele, to get the full scoop on just what we can expect this year.

What can we expect at this year’s show?
Schaufele: This year we are using the vibrant, youthful colors of the Carolina Herrera collection as inspiration for our décor throughout the Schermerhorn. We want to keep the ambiance sophisticated, just as Wes has done with the collection, but also incorporate unique pops of color, which our guests won’t want to miss!
Favorite Carolina Herrera Fall 2019 piece?
Schaufele: Hands down, the “make my heart pitter patter” dress is this shoulder blush gown with the orange sash weaved in from the side!
Arnholt: I love this bright yellow patterned cocktail dress the best!
Why did you pick Wes Gordon?
Schaufele: There are so many reasons we picked Wes Gordon. Most importantly, we are dying to see the designs and meet the man who a style icon like Carolina Herrera entrusted with her line and gave total control of her name and collection. Plus he’s adorable, Southern, and we’ve heard a genuinely kind person.
Arnholt: Caroline Herrera is such an Iconic designer, and with Wes Gordon taking over the creative side, it was such a great opportunity to highlight that incredibly iconic work.

What is your favorite Lauren Alaina song?
Schaufele: I feel really cliché saying “Road Less Traveled” because obviously that’s so many people’s favorite! But I also love “The Middle.” Maybe it is the time of life that I am in right now but sometimes it all just seems like a whirlwind, and Lauren’s lyrics “Cause you turn around and the future is the past/Here and now is all we have” just resonates with me.
Arnholt: “Doin Fine” and “Road Less Traveled” are both favorites of mine.
What other Nashville Symphony show/performance/event are you most looking forward to in the near future and why?
Schaufele: The Music of Queen on June 22 at Ascend Amphitheater! I cannot think of a better way to hear the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen than with our amazing Symphony.
Arnholt: Trisha Yearwood performing with the Nashville Symphony at the Schermerhorn in October.
