The Salvation Army Nashville Area Command will open Angel Tree adoptions on Thursday, November 7, inviting the community to help bring Christmas joy to children and seniors in need across Middle Tennessee.
Each year, The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides Christmas gifts and necessities to thousands of children and seniors. Through the generosity of donors, “Angels”, children and seniors registered through The Salvation Army, receive new clothing, toys, and other essentials to brighten the season and ease the financial strain many families face.
Serving Nashville and Murfreesboro Communities
At its Nashville location, serving Davidson, Williamson, Cheatham, Dickson, Sumner, and Hickman counties, Angel Trees will be available to adopt from at The Mall at Green Hills, Coolsprings Mall, and online at SalvationArmyNashville.org.
At its Murfreesboro location, serving Rutherford and Cannon Counties, Angel Trees will be available at Stones River Mall, their office at 1137 W. Main St., and online at SalvationArmyMurfreesboro.org.
“The Angel Tree program reflects the heart of The Salvation Army’s mission - to bring hope and dignity to those facing difficult times,” said Major Stephanie Mockabee, Area Commander for The Salvation Army Nashville Area Command. “Every gift given is a message that someone cares, and that message lasts far beyond Christmas morning.”
