Country singer-songwriter Phil Vassar will headline Make-A-Wish® Middle Tennessee’s seventh annual Stars for Wishes gala.
Cast members from Studio Tenn’s production of "Beauty and the Beast" will perform excerpts from the show. The fundraiser, emceed by local wish kids, will take place on Saturday, January 19 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The evening will include a menu created by chef Tony Galzin of Nicky’s Coal Fired. The event begins with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m.
“We see every day that wishes have a life-affirming, life-changing impact on wish kids and their families. And, right now, more than 150 local children with critical illnesses are waiting for their own life-changing wishes,” says Beth Torres, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. “Wishes give children renewed energy and strength and bring families closer together. That is why the support of Phil Vassar, Studio Tenn, chef Galzin, and our presenting sponsor, Crowe, is so important and meaningful. We are grateful for their time, talents, and contributions. We cannot wait for Stars for Wishes 2019.”
Stars for Wishes 2019 is generously presented by Crowe. Additional support provided by Thomas and Amanda Beck, Experient, Flight Solutions, HCA TriStar, Hemphill Brothers Coach Company, Jeff Lynch of Summit Financial, Prevost, and RPR Insurance.
