Country singer-songwriter Phil Vassar will headline Make-A-Wish® Middle Tennessee’s seventh annual Stars for Wishes gala.
Cast members from Studio Tenn’s production of "Beauty and the Beast" will perform excerpts from the show. The fundraiser, emceed by local wish kids, will take place on Saturday, January 19 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The evening will include a menu created by chef Tony Galzin of Nicky’s Coal Fired. The event begins with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m.

And, right now, more than 150 local children with critical illnesses are waiting for their own life-changing wishes,” says Beth Torres, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. “Wishes give children renewed energy and strength and bring families closer together. Chef Tony Galzin and his wife Caroline, of Nicky’s Coal Fired, have played an important role in Nashville’s food scene since opening Fifty First Kitchen & Bar in 2013 and, in 2016, Nicky’s Coal Fired, a neighborhood restaurant focusing on seasonal Italian antipasti, pasta, and pizzas fired in Tennessee’s only coal burning oven.
