Mt. Juliet
If that cliché about real estate—location, location, location—is your watchword, then Mt. Juliet is your suburb.
Conveniently located between Percy Priest (to the south) and Old Hickory lakes (to the north), with quick access to I-40 and a Music City Star commuter rail stop in town, it’s relatively easy to get anywhere from this suburb. (Of course, if you don't take the train, you may sit in some traffic, as you would in all of the 11-county Metro areas.)
In the last four decades, folks have flocked here thanks to the location, plus the lure of Wilson County Schools. In season, locals gather for the weekly farmers’ market in the popular Charlie Daniels Park (which also has an amphitheater). Providence Market Place is the mega-retail complex, with movie theaters, big-box stores, and restaurants.
According to Zillow, the median price of homes listed is around $399,000.
