The 32nd annual La Bella Notte will take center stage at the Omni Nashville Hotel on February 28.
This beloved gala blends beautiful music, fine wines, exquisite dining, and community spirit with a mission in support of Nashville Opera. Guests will be transported to the heart of Seville, where candlelight glows against Spanish tiles, the scent of oranges drifts through the air, and voices soar with passion. It’s a celebration of Spanish flavors, golden music, and the romance of Rossini’s Spain twirled together in one unforgettable night.
This year’s event holds special significance as Nashville Opera honors John Hoomes’ 30 years of visionary leadership. His artistry has brought world-class opera to Nashville and inspired countless lives through performance and education. By joining the celebration, attendees will not only honor the past but also help fuel the future of opera in Middle Tennessee.
“Whether you’re a longtime supporter or attending your very first opera event, La Bella Notte is a space where everyone belongs,” said Jennifer Zehnder, chief development officer of Nashville Opera. “This is an evening that reflects who we are as a company. It’s artistically bold, deeply welcoming, and rooted in the belief that opera can and should reach every corner of our city.”
Expect live opera woven throughout the evening, fine dining with a Spanish flair, spirited live and silent auctions, and an atmosphere of elegance, passion, and community.
Beyond the glamour, the gala serves a greater purpose: funding Nashville Opera’s education and outreach programs, which bring live opera to classrooms, community centers, and public spaces across Middle Tennessee. Each ticket supports initiatives like Opera on Wheels, student matinees, and emerging young artists, expanding access to the arts for over 25,000 individuals annually.
“La Bella Notte is how we celebrate our mission,” Zehnder said. “It’s a night of joy and beauty that directly fuels connection and creativity throughout our community.”
