In addition to crafting delicious local brews, Tennessee Brew Works is also working to alleviate hunger in the local community through its "Drink Beer. Give Back." initiative.
Every Sunday until the end of the year, $1 from each pint purchased at the brewery's taproom will be donated to The Nashville Food Project, an organization that brings people together to grow, cook, and share nourishing food, with the goal of cultivating community and helping those experiencing food insecurity in Nashville.
"As a Tennessee small business, it is our responsibility to support local organizations that help our community. With all the challenges in 2020, our communities need our support more than ever,” said Christian Spears, founder and owner, Tennessee Brew Works.
Tennessee Brew Works and The Nashville Food Project are also partnering to create the Nashville Brew Project To-Go Map and Field Guild, which will pair over 10 local beers with 10 dishes from some of the city's top chefs. The initiative encourages patrons to support and visit local breweries and restaurants to pick up the pairings of their choice.

The Nashville Food Project
Additionally, The Nashville Food Project will be collecting vegetable stock. brown rice, pasta, dried fruit, and beans at the Tennessee Brew Works Taproom to help stock their pantry and create thousands of scratch-made meals for the community each week.
Nashville Brew Project To-Go Maps will be available on The Nashville Food Project's website in early November for a small suggested donation. Funds raised will go directly back to support the organization's mission.
"We are so grateful for community partners like Tennessee Brew Works," said Jennifer Justus, marketing and events manager at The Nashville Food Project. "Funds donated from their incredibly generous "Drink Beer. Give Back" campaign will go directly back into the community to help us work toward alleviating hunger in Nashville by growing, cooking and sharing nourishing meals with our neighbors.
Each month, Tennessee Brew Works chooses a local organization to support. In 2020 alone, the Nashville-based brewery donated a portion of their sales to Tennessee State Parks Conservancy, Tennessee Craft Brewer’s Guild, Tennessee Environmental Council, and Girl’s on the Run.
