Aiming to catch up, stay on track, or get ahead of schedule? Let Checkbox Concierge lend a hand. Founded last fall by to-do list connoisseur Crystal Elsey, the personal assistance service frees up your time by taking care of tasks that bog you down.
After a demanding sales job led Elsey to hire her own assistant a few years ago, she was inspired to offer the same support for others. 'I would come home and breathe this huge sigh of relief,” she recalls. 'My life calmed down a lot, and I want other people to experience a similar sense of peace.”
Together with her business partner, Rebecca Baird, Elsey takes care of meal prep, moving needs, space organization, general errands, and even travel or event planning. The pair offers company-specific business services, tooeverything from filing and administrative support to content writing, home staging, and Airbnb flipping.
Unlike other companies of its kind, Checkbox Concierge doesn't price its services à la carte (except for dog walks, which are a flat rate of $15 for 30 minutes). Instead, pricing is determined by the amount of time spent on each task. You can purchase one hour for a same-day set of hands or select packages of 5, 10, and 15 hours to use at your leisure. Rates range from $20 to $30 per hour; the more time you purchase up front, the lower your hourly rate will be.
'I want anyone who has an expendable amount of income to be able to use Checkbox Concierge,” Elsey adds. 'It's luxury-level service at an accessible price point.”
