Calvin Nowell is the founder of Cmon Creative, a local marketing firm.
The firm created and produced Make Belief, an animated short starring a cast of puppets in a world where you become what you believe and not what you want. Nowell had no idea that a special guest would make an appearance when he uploaded an episode of the cast of puppets onto his Instagram page.
Winfrey was so thrilled to see her image designed and added to the cast of Make Belief that she made a surprise appearance during Nowell's interview with an Oprah staff member in an episode of The Oprah Daily Show. She conducted the interview herself.
“Creativity helped my greatest dream come to pass, meeting my mentor and number one influencer in my life, Ms. Oprah Winfrey. After attending her WW Tour in Miami and Atlanta, her words of wisdom gave me the courage to start my own business” says Nowell.
