Dr. Aaron Howard
Franklin Road Academy recently welcomed Dr. Aaron Howard as the Director of Diversity, Community, and Inclusion. Throughout his life, Howard has longed to experience the reality of Dr. Martin Luther King’s beloved community – a vision of mutual interdependence and flourishing of all people where all feel welcome and free to share their unique gifts and diverse perspectives. Howard’s pursuit of “beloved community,” a place where every child feels known, valued, and loved, animates and undergirds his work at FRA. Since joining the leadership team at FRA, he has immersed himself in the mission of the school to provide a challenging educational experience within an inclusive Christian community with an unwavering commitment to develop leaders of integrity and purpose. In addition to his director role, Howard has focused his energy on building strong relationships with students. The faculty and staff at FRA cultivate a love of learning in students by encouraging them to discover their passions while being supported, encouraged, and nurtured along the way. Because of these relationships, students feel safe to take risks and are celebrated throughout their FRA experience as they discover their unique roles in our community and around the world.
“The diligence, tenacity, and passion of our students is infectious,” Howard said. “Even through these challenging circumstances and our transition to a remote learning environment, I continue to see our students do amazing, compassionate things for each other in unexpected ways. The joy and love they share for one another and for our faculty and staff are profound, and I can’t help but be inspired by them.”

Brad Ramsey, of Brad Ramsey Interiors, knows that home design is complicated. With so many styles, color palettes, layout possibilities, fabrics, finishes, and details to consider, the process of creating your perfect space can quickly become overwhelming. What Brad brings to the design table is years of experience to navigate all of these elements and create the perfect plan for you. Just ask his clients. From young couples just starting out to Grammy Award-winning artists, Brad’s inspiration is... people.
“My favorite part of design is getting to know the client. I love to understand them, their family, how they live, their passions and their concerns. It makes the journey so much more rich when I get to really know the people I am working with!”
Since forming his own firm, BRI, in 2013, he has built a dedicated and skilled team that assists him in seeing the design process through from start to finish. Whether the challenge is to freshen up an existing space or tear it down and start over, they provide the expertise needed to create an exquisite environment that fits any pace of life. Brad’s impeccable eye for detail and keen sense of what makes an environment feel curated and collected is enhanced through understanding how his clients use their space.
