Tennessee Women Connect Presents Second Annual Live Conference
An all-day event for professional, business-minded women
[Nashville, Tenn - August 2, 2022] - Tennessee Women Connect, a regional networking platform that empowers business-minded women, presents the second annual TN Women Connect Live Conference held at the Loveless Cafe Barn, Thursday, October 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST.
“I am thrilled to be hosting TN Women Connect’s second annual, live event. This year’s theme is ‘abundance’—abundance in mindset, business, and in life. Our conference provides an experience of a lifetime: a full day of brilliant women in business taking the stage to not only inspire, but also give our attendees strategic advice and tactical tips on how to increase profits in their business, network the right way, level up sales techniques, and truly lean into an abundance mindset! Our conference is the perfect springboard to finish Q4 strong,” said Lucy Miller, founder and president of Tennessee Women Connect.
The TN Women Connect Live Conference will be a day-long educational and motivational networking conference for female entrepreneurs—from the solo-prenuer or sales professional, to the woman running a large organization or an online boutique, the information shared and the connections made are beneficial to every stage and size of business. The in-person event is open to the public and limited to 250 attendees. A marketplace area featuring thirty booths of Nashville female-owned businesses will be accessible to those attending. Several collaborative and networking events will occur throughout the day including a morning session over coffee and biscuits, during lunch with the VIP option to chat with speakers, and at happy hour near the end of the event.
The event will cover all aspects of growing or starting a business with an emphasis on increasing profitability, mastering sales techniques, and expanding the abundance mindset all with the backbone of connection. A series of six speakers will be featured, including Kirbee Miller, founder of KiNiMi Kitchen, who will speak on the abundance mindset, Deeannah Seymour, founder of pH-D Feminine Health, who will speak on tips and tricks to starting a successful business, Tina Phillips, owner of 615Innovations, who will speak on sales and marketing techniques, Teresa White, strategic business coach, who will speak on how to network the right way, and Brielle Cotterman, founder of Brielle Cotterman Media, who will speak on the power of publicity.
The keynote will be led by Sherry Deutschmann, founder and CEO of BrainTrust. She will speak on championing and challenging one another to grow companies to their fullest potential. The day will close with a panel discussion of success stories, moderated by Sydney Dozier of Renaissance Marketing Group and recorded live for The Renaissance Podcast with panelists Raven Hernandez, Jamie Heard, Heather Locke, and Shani Dowel.
The future for TN Women Connect includes continued efforts to strengthen and grow the existing eight chapters of Brentwood, Clarksville, Franklin, Mount Juliet, Murfreesboro, Nashville, Nolensville, and Spring Hill. Lucy Miller has her sights set on a few new cities for expansion in early 2023 for further Tennessee business connections. Three membership options are available, which include various benefits such as discounted member pricing to all events, a member directory, access to a private Facebook group, and more.
General admission and VIP tickets are on sale and limited with member tickets available for $225 and non-member tickets for $275. The event, located at 8400 TN-100 Nashville, Tenn 37221, also offers an exclusive VIP experience which can be added to either ticket option including a limited edition swag bag, plated lunch, and elevated networking experience with speakers.

Note to the Editor:
Tennessee Women Connect: Lucy Miller, Founder of Tennessee Women Connect, is a networking expert. Born and raised in Franklin, Lucy created the membership community out of her own desire to have local connections with fellow business-minded females. With a background in real estate and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, her people skills are unmatched; she simply needed a home for them. Noticing a need for a professional women's networking opportunity in Williamson County, she started a Facebook group, quickly followed by events in January of 2020. As a result, she found women were looking for opportunities to make real connections, in person, and who were excited to collaborate with others. With immense growth opportunities, Lucy expanded TN Women Connect to eight cities throughout Middle Tennessee, creating space for women to show up for themselves and their businesses. Lucy is also a Williamson County Chamber of Commerce member, Braintrust member, and the Co-Chair of the Mission Board at Franklin First Methodist. From a mindset of abundance and focus on operations, Lucy spends her time finding ways to loyally serve her community. When she’s not connecting with fellow businesswomen, she’s spending quality time with her husband and two kids, and vacationing at the beach and lake.
