To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, The Hermitage Hotel is hosting an Afternoon Tea the day before the historic vote.
The tea will mimic afternoon tea from 1920 including recipes for tea sandwiches and desserts from The Women Suffrage Cook Book published by Mrs. Hattie A. Burr.
Guests of The Yellow Rose Tea will enjoy:
- Tea sandwiches, scones, and pastries
- Luxurious loose leaf tea by In Pursuit of Tea
- A commemorative keepsake menu
- A visit with Mary Morgan Ketchel, author of newly released Camilla Can Vote
- Entertaining stories from "Anne Dallas Dudley"
- A caricature artist available for portraits of guests
Seatings are available at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Reservations and pre-payment are required.
