Straight up: One-part time machine, one-part rock fury and 100% all fecking real with no additives, Starbenders are out to threaten everyone with a good time. Over the course of 10 years, three albums, and the thousands of dropped jaws of those who have witnessed them, the Atlanta, Georgia, quartet of vocalist/guitarist Kimi Shelter, bassist Aaron Lecesne, guitarist Kriss Tokaji and new drummer Qi Wei have dedicated themselves to one mission: baptizing the masses in the promise, passion and power that somehow got lost along rock ‘n’ roll’s storied history. Starbenders can make a biker bar feel like a stadium, a stadium feel like an off-world metropolis and still have enough left in them to hit a diner post-show, smiling through their sweat-glistened couture.
