The Jimmy Buffett Son of a Son of a Sailor Experience opens September 12.

Nashville-based Jimmy Buffett diehards can now further celebrate the life of the legendary musician. The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf will debut the Jimmy Buffett Son of a Son of a Sailor Experience — a first-of-its-kind exhibit in Mobile, AL celebrating the music, storytelling, and cultural influence of one of the Gulf Coast’s favorite sons.

The grand opening is set for September 12–13, with the experience featuring an extensive collection of Jimmy Buffett artifacts and memorabilia, including:

- Handwritten lyrics

- Guitars, and other pieces from his career

- Full-size replica of Shrimp Boat Sound, Jimmy’s iconic Key West recording studio

- Jimmy’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Statue

Presale tickets are available. General Admission Adult tickets run for $19. Tickets for seniors, veterans, students, and youth cost $15. Children under five earn free admission.
