Reclaiming Lives After Dark is a community event designed to embrace conversations around mental health, overcoming adversity and inspiring resilience. Hosted by Centerstone, a national leader in behavioral health care, the event will encourage open discussions that normalize behavioral health.
New York Times bestselling author, internationally renowned speaker and mental health advocate, Ben Nemtin, will be the featured speaker addressing his own experience with depression and anxiety and how he turned his mental health experience into a source of motivation to achieve his dreams.
Nemtin formerly starred on MTV’s “The Buried Life;” a show which documented the mission of Nemtin and his three childhood friends to complete their bucket list titled “100 Things to Do Before You Die.” The group decided that for every bucket list item accomplished, they would help a stranger complete an item on their own list. From playing basketball with President Obama to reuniting a father and son after seventeen years, the group has accomplished much on their bucket list quest – and has inspired millions to pursue their own dreams.
The event highlights Centerstone’s mission to break down the stigma associated with behavioral and mental health and provide quality and accessible care to those in need.
Tickets for the event cost $25 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
