The Nashville Public Library will host its 10th annual LEGO® Contest, drawing enthusiasts of all ages to put their best original creations on display during a two-day event. Registration is open until Feb. 9, is available to everyone, and free. The contest will run Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Main Library, located at 615 Church Street in downtown Nashville.
To participate, use your own LEGO®, DUPLO®, Mega bloks® or other compatible plastic bricks to build a creation, which will be on display from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, and from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. During the awards ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m., winners will be announced for the first place, runner up and crowd favorite awards in six categories: preschool-K, grades 1-2, grades 3-4, grades 5-7, grades 8-12 and adults.
Participants could also win a "Construction Superlative" recognition from Messer Construction Co., this year's presenting sponsor.
