Nashville Pride Festival 2021 will be held on September 18th-19th at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park
For over three decades, Nashville Pride has been celebrating, honoring, and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community throughout Middle Tennessee. After dramatic growth in 2019, the organization started making plans to increase its footprint for the annual celebration. After a one-year pause due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organization is unveiling big changes for the 2021 celebration.
The 33rd annual Nashville Pride Festival and Parade will take place on September 11 and 12 at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.
Since its inception, the Nashville Pride Festival and Parade has been held in June during Pride Month, a traditional celebration of LGBTQIA+ history, culture, and lives. The decision to change the dates comes after a review of community feedback and acknowledgement of the current health pandemic. Changing the dates of the festival and location will allow for the annual celebration to expand in size while keeping the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, entertainers and attendees paramount.
The Nashville Pride Board of Directors is working on plans to celebrate pride month in June of 2021 with a series of smaller events.
