The Celiac Disease Foundation’s Turkey Trot is a national, virtual event raising important funds that go towards celiac disease research and programs. Our Nashville area trot is in partnership with the Celiac Disease Foundation and raises funds specifically for a gluten-free food assistance program to help Vanderbilt Health celiac families experiencing food insecurity.
With your help, we can enroll more Vanderbilt Health celiac families in this vital intervention.
The Nashville Area Turkey Trot and Family Fun Day event is a large community-focused event bringing together celiac disease patients and their supporters. The day kicks off with a non-competitive 5K race through a beautiful trail along the Cumberland River. After the race, attendees are invited to enjoy complimentary food and beverages in our gluten-free food hall and a variety of kid and adult-friendly games and activities! Check-in for the race will open at 8:15 AM, with the race officially launching at 9:00 AM. The gluten-free food hall and activities will be open from 9:30-11:30 AM.
