Musician Spotlight: Sarah Jory
Sarah Jory is an English multi-instrumentalist best known for her work on pedal steel guitar. She was part of Van Morrison’s band from 2006 to 2012, during which time she played on his albums Keep It Simple and Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl and appeared in "Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl: The Concert Film." Jory has also shared stages with Country Music Hall of Fame member Glen Campbell, Eric Clapton, Duane Eddy, Cyndi Lauper and Albert Lee and has appeared at numerous steel guitar conventions across the United States alongside Buddy Emmons, Paul Franklin and Lloyd Green. In 2007, she was inducted into the British Country Music Awards (BCMA) Hall of Fame.
