ABOUT LEXIE HAYDEN
Drawing inspiration from all corners of country music, ranging from royalty like Dolly Parton and The Dixie Chicks to younger trailblazers such as Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, and Brothers Osborne, Virginia-born singer-songwriter Lexie Hayden has always sought to tap one particular attribute that these influences embody to her: honesty.
Between both Apple Music and Spotify, Hayden's music has garnered over three and a half million total streams. Her songs have been showcased on various playlists, including "New Music Nashville," "New Music Friday Country," "Fresh Finds," "New Boots," "Country Risers" "New in Country" and "CMT Next Women of Country."
As an independent artist, Hayden has had seven songs (and counting) featured on national radio via the Women of iHeartCountry show that airs on all 150+ iHeartCountry stations. Hayden was also named the National Spotlight Artist of the Week twice on the Top 30 Countdown with Bobby Bones. Besides being an artist, Hayden prides herself on being a songwriter as well. She co-wrote Priscilla Block's single, "My Bar," which went to country radio and broke the top 25 in 2022. Hayden's songs have been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Tamron Hall Show, The CMT Awards, The Yara Shahidi Show, and ESPN.
Hayden was on the first ever season of "Becoming A Popstar" in 2022; a brand new show put on by MTV, TikTok, and Pepsi. Following the show, Hayden was selected to be a part of the Pepsi Music Lab; a program put on by Pepsi and United Masters designed to "shine a spotlight on the next generation of superstars."
Hayden's debut full-length album "Countin' Rainbows" will be released later this Fall. The first two singles "Both Yours" and "Fingertips" are already available everywhere. The record will be a blend of a few genres, paying a nod to the 70s/80s, while still channeling the country music that is coming out of Nashville today.
