Family Program: Thank a Soldier: Veteran's Day Postcards

There is a long history of country music stars — including Country Music Hall of Fame members Johnny Cash, George Jones, Willie Nelson and many others — serving in the United States military. To share appreciation for military members and their families, museum visitors can create postcards for active-duty troops. Cards will be mailed to those serving overseas through A Million Thanks, a non-profit organization that provides support to military members. (All ages)
